Many
companies are operating without clearly defined safety policies and
procedures. They are also without established written programs and
other vital information that must be communicated to each employee.
Without this material, companies are exposing themselves to needless
risks, uncertainty, and the probability of accidents. Boyer Safety
Services offers you a Safety Manual designed to address these
important needs.
For a safety manual to be effective, it must be specific to each
company and, in many cases, specific to each worksite. We can provide
a safety manual to you that is not only specific to your workplace,
but also meets all federal and state requirements. To ease the burden
on you, we offer two options:
- Option #1--Workplace Evaluation, involves one of
our staff members visiting your worksite and gathering the
site-specific information needed to develop the manual. Review of
your current documentation, interviews with employees, and an
examination of your worksite will provide us with the needed
information.
- Option #2--Questionnaire Evaluation, involves
sending a comprehensive questionnaire to you for completion. After
we receive it, we will use the information contained in the
questionnaire to formulate the manual.
Our fees for this service are remarkably low, as we
charge reduced rates for our consulting time in our offices. Many
consulting firms charge a flat hourly fee regardless of where the work
is performed. We don't believe this policy is fair. Call us today for
more details at 1-800-664-8401, or e-mail us at bssi@boyersafety.com.
Written Plans

Many
OSHA regulations require specific written plans. These plans
detail how a company complies with a specific OSHA regulation.
Companies that do not have their plans in place put their
employees at risk and face costly penalties for non-compliance.
Boyer Safety Services, Inc. can assist you with your written
programs. By using our services, you are relieved of the tedious
job of not only writing the programs, but also ensuring that
they meet all applicable regulations. We have written numerous
programs for many companies and have kept up-to-date with the
latest regulatory changes. The following is a partial list of
programs we offer:
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Respiratory Protection
- Confined Space Entry
- Emergency Action Plans
- Hazard Communication
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Process Safety Management
In short, we can develop any written program
that is required by OSHA or your state regulatory agencies. Our
staff has been involved with some of the most complicated
regulatory compliance issues, so you can be assured that we can
quickly and effectively solve your most difficult issue.
